DGT passive samplers with an HLB binding layer have proved successful for the measurement of pharmaceuticals. In Challis et al, 2016 (click link for full reference), it was used without a filter membrane. Such devices without a membrane can be supplied on request, but we do not recommend them for field deployments as particles can adhere to the exposed diffusive gels.
